British Canoeing - 3 Star Open Canoe Training

Description:

Successful completion of the British Canoeing 3 Star Open Canoe award means that a candidate can consider themselves an intermediate canoe paddler.

During the training course candidates will gain skills & experience to improve their personal competence in paddling open water in wind conditions of force 2-3 and on simple moving water as part of a led group.

Additional Skills: Poling, sailing, lining & tracking will also be covered along with safety & rescue skills.
