Planned Trips

Explore Highland run a number of planned 4 hour trips out onto Loch Ness from Easter to October. These trips are normally planned for afternoons (1-5pm), however during summer evening paddles (6-10pm).

Why do we use tandem sit on top kayaks on Loch Ness?

These kayaks are….

  • Easy access/egress for adults and kits of all sizes
  • Their width and low centre of balance  makes them very stable
  • Comfortable deluxe seat pads with high back rests
  • Tandem kayak team work helps to move the boat and cover a fair distance easily
  • Great for families wishing to get out on the water with the adults pair up with their children
  • Wheel in the keel models also help reduce weight when portaging to/off the water

Sunday afternoon and evening Paddle Loch Ness dates have already been set. More information & online booking available on the diary page
