Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to all Explore Highland activities, as well as any activities run on behalf of Explore Highland by a third-party provider. Please take some time to read though the sections below; if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
Safety
At Explore Highland your safety is of the utmost importance:
- Our Team will ensure that your safety is of utmost importance, however all outdoor activities have an element of risk through participation. Explore Highland will NOT be held responsible for any injury caused as a result of participating in our activities;
- By booking on a course you are confirming that you are physically fit and able to participate in your chosen activity. All participants are required to disclose any medical conditions to our Team. All information will be dealt with in privacy. If you have any queries, please contact us to discuss prior to booking;
- All participants must agree to follow the instructions of the Explore Highland Team to ensure the safety of themselves and all group members;
- Individuals are advised to take out their own personal insurance to cover them for unplanned eventualities that may result from participating in our activities.
Booking Procedure
Booking an activity can be completed in a few simple steps:
- Select the appropriate course through our diary page;
- Double click on the activity title you wish to book, this will bring up the Activity Details screen;
- If you are happy with all the details, you can confirm you booking by clicking on 'Book Now' link;
- A new page will appear and you are required to complete some details;
- Please then click submit the form, or alternatively print out the booking form and attached appropriate payment. This should be posted to the address stated;
- Full payment is required to reserve your space, 50% for group bookings (3 spaces or more). All outstanding balances are due 28 days prior to activity start date. All cheques are to be made payable to ‘Highland Leisure Training’. BACS details are available on request;
- A confirmation email will be sent to confirm receipt of booking form;
- An Activity Preparation Plan will be forwarded to you once full payment has been received.
Cancellation Policy
Please take a moment to read our cancellations policy:
- Should a client cancel within 14 days of the booked activity, Explore Highland reserve the right to not offer any refund;
- Should a client cancel within 14-28 day period of the booked activity, Explore Highland will offer an available place on another date or arrange a 50% refund. Should we be able to fill the activity, we will then be able to offer a full refund;
- Should a client cancel 28 day prior to the booked activity, Explore Highland will offer to move booking to another forthcoming date/activity or offer a full refund;
- Should a group booking (3 spaces or more) cancel less than 28 days, Explore Highland reserve the right to not offer any refund;
- Explore Highland reserve the right to alter or cancel any advertised activity booking at any time. Should this ever occur, a full refund or an alternative booking will be offered.
Equipment Damage
Please take a moment to read our equipment damage policy:
- The nature of paddles sports ensures that equipment does suffer from wear and tear;
- While we accept this we do request that all clients are mindful that it is there responsibility to take good care of all equipment provided;
- Clients are more than welcome to use their own appropriate equipment. In some cases it is often more beneficial to instructing someone in their own craft;
- Explore Highland however will NOT take any responsibility for loss or damage for clients' property.
Customer Care
Please take a moment to read our customer care policy:
- We value your feedback both throughout the activity as well as afterwards;
- Over the course of you activity, and before the end of each day, there will be plenty of opportunity to discuss any appropriate concerns;
- Once your activity has finished, Explore Highland will also send you a feedback form by email. This will help us monitor the level of our clients satisfaction. We appreciate if you could take the time to complete this and return it to us.
