Well its that time of the season again to start planning and arranging guided adventures for the season ahead. Similarly to last year, for 2022 I will be again only running a limited number of guided adventures.

Explore Highland has a great number of paddle boarding opportunities with courses, trips, and multiday adventures this coming year for all ability skills. 2022 Scottish Canoeing Opportunities

If canoeing is your thing, well there are a number of must-do adventures planned for the year ahead. For those who have always wanted to take on the Great Glen, well this is your year with two confirmed dates set.

For those who may have already completed the Great Glen and looking for your next adventures, the River Spey is certainly the classic canoe trip to make the year memorable.

Canoe Loch Maree is a stunning paddle, and this two-day adventure will include nature, history, wildlife, and lots of fun. Suitable for individuals, couples, or adult & teenager combo’s.

2022 Scottish Sea Kayaking Opportunities

For the sea kayak lovers, afraid I am only offering two planned guided trips this coming season, but they are obviously to some amazing locations which I know you won’t be disappointed with.

Isle of Skye & Summer Isles are well-known and stunning paddling locations that Explore Highland regularly guide families and adult groups. The Horizon tandem sea kayaks that we use are very stable and forgiving making all the trips suitable for beginners to advanced paddlers to enjoy cave hopping, wildlife spotting, and relaxing in.

Local half-day trips including Paddle Loch Ness, Paddle Moray Firth & Paddle Cromarty Firth, are great ways to get the whole family out on the water. Dates for these are normally added 6-8 weeks in advance or by request.
