British Canoeing - 3 Star Sea Kayak Training

Description:

Successful performance at this level indicates that a candidate can consider themselves as an able improving sea paddler rather than a beginner. During the training course candidates will be trained in skills to help gain personal competence paddling in wind conditions of up to Beaufort Force 3 or Sea State 3 as part of a led group. Forward paddling, turning, launching, landing, towing, safety & rescue, rolling plus navigation will all be covered

Kit: All equipment can be provided or you can use your own sea kayak & kit.
