EVENING OPEN CANOEING ON LOCH NESS

Brief Description
Our evening open canoe journey is ideal for those who are looking at getting out on the water with a guide and exploring part of the most famous loch in the world.

Paddling Experience
Paddling experience is not necessary. Some instruction can be given however the focus is on going on a short journey to explore and enjoy the paddle, scenery and wildlife.

Physical Requirements
Basic fitness is required for this activity

Logistics
The trip runs from 6.00-9.30pm (3.5 hours)

Launch point will either be Dochgarroch or Dores beach depending on local wind direction and weather.

Transport available from Inverness. Please ensure this is arranged at least 48 hours prior to evening.

Clothing Required
When out on the water it is best if you wear light outdoor trousers and a fleece top covered with a wind/waterproof jacket. We do offer paddling cagoules if needed. Footwear should be an old pair of trainers that you you don’t mind getting wet if needed. A baseball cap and/or hat is also good to have handy. You should also take a complete change of clothes with you should you accidentally get wet!

Paddling Equipment
We will supply suitable canoes, buoyancy aids (PFD’s), paddles and a dry bag for each tandem. Cagoules available if required.
