FREE Taster Session – Stand Up Paddling

Stand up paddle board with expert coaching and great kit on the Caledonian Canal in Inverness. Session suitable for complete beginners looking at getting into this fun sport.

We supply: 

• 1.5 hours of coaching
• variety of SUP boards and paddles to try
• Wetsuits are available if required

What you need to bring: During this session we will offer coaching to try keeping your on the board, however it may be likely you do fall off. We recommend bring along;

• Swimwear with legging, shorts n t-shirt may be appropriate but do take a waterproof jacket
• wetsuit or drysuit can also be worn
• a hat or cap to keep warm
• old trainers that you don’t mind getting wet/wear out on the water
• towel and complete change of clothes for afterwards

Group Size: Max 5

Age: Suitable for adults only (18 years old or over)

Meeting Time: 7.30pm for 7.45pm

Meet Location: Explore Highland Office, Clachnaharry Works Lock, Inverness, IV3 8RA. Free parking available onsite

Finish Time: Approx. 9.15pm

There will be no charge for these sessions however you can make a donation into our local charity collection can on the night. Those who attend will also receive a 25% discount to one of our full day Introduction to Paddling courses. Bookings open online from 6pm on Monday 24th April 2017 and available on a first come first served basis. We ask that you book onto one free course only per person!
