Improver Open Canoeing

Our Improver Open Canoeing course is ideal for those who have had an introduction to the sport and wishing to gain more experience, coaching and paddling the lochs and introduction to grade 1 rivers.
Timing
Meeting at 9.00am. Course participants will be off the water by 4.00pm and finished by 5.00pm.
Meeting Point
Our base at Clachnaharry Works Lock, Clachnaharry Road, Inverness. IV3 8RA.
Things to Remember
Please bring along the following items;
- Swimwear and a towel
- Old pair of trainers or wetsuit booties
- Waterproof jacket and trousers
- A hat or cap
- Complete change of clothes
- Lunch and a hot flask/drink
What we Supply
We will supply the following items;
- Seven hours of coaching/guiding
- Suitable craft for activity
- Wetsuit if required
- Appropriate sized buoyancy aid & helmet
- Appropriate sized paddle, cag & spraydeck
Group Size
Minimum two paddlers/ maximum six paddlers.
Age Restrictions
16-18 year olds can attend with parent/guardian consent
