Stand Up Paddling Demo Day – Loch Oich

With the growing boom in Stand Up Paddling, Explore Highland are offering you the chance to try it out for FREE.

Donald will be on Loch Oich, by the Well of Seven Heads with his “Mobile SUP Station” and a full fleet of stand up paddleboards including some from Red Paddle Co & Gladiator boards from 1200 till 1600 for you to try out on the water.

Explore Highland will supply;

• demo paddle boards with a leash
• adjustable sup paddle
• buoyancy aid
• SUP advice and guidance
• Options how to further your paddling
• Offers for the 2019 SUP trips, courses & adventure holidays

What you need to bring;

1. suitable paddling clothing (swimwear, shorts/leggings, t-shirt, light wind jacket & old trainers)
2. complete change of clothes
3. towel

On arrival, you will be asked to complete a paddle form and will be allocated a 30min time slot for one of the 9x boards available. Once complete, you can either retire for the day or book another 30min slot with the same or another size/type of board.

Evening if you have your own SUP, why not join in and try out a few other boards, meet fellow paddlers, and find new friends to go on Highland SUP adventures.

Please note, this is a FREE event and you DO NOT have to register, however, it would be great if you could share this event which is listed on Explore Highland Facebook page with your friends who may also be interested in getting into this great activity.
