SUP Skye Adventure (4 days)

Four days exploring Skye and the west coast of Scotland using stand up paddleboards. Each day will consist of two half day paddles and a longer day paddle on day three. Each days paddling location will be decided by the group from a range of options depending on the local wind direction and strength.

To maximise best paddling locations across Skye and the West coast, the trip is minibus supported. Each day we can pack light with only minimal day kit on the boards. Each night will be based from a commercial campsite to ensure suitable facilities available.
EH supplies:
- tea/coffee on meeting and return to office
- transport provided from Inverness and throughout trip
- paddleboard, adjustable paddle, wetsuit, jacket & buoyancy aid (if required)
- tent, roll mat, torch, cooking equipment & toilet bag (if required)
- four days sup guiding/coaching
- three nights commercial site fees covered
- find out all the local history and wildlife
- copies of all photos taken by your guide during the adventure
What you need to bring:
We recommend bring along;
- your own warm paddling clothing
- waterproof trousers & jacket
- suitable footwear for paddling and camp
- hat, cap & gloves
- spare clothing & sleeping bag
- personal toiletries, midgy spray & sun tan lotion
- personal food
Group Size: Min 4/Max 6 (Bookings close a two weeks before activity date. Should there be insufficient numbers, you will be notified and issued a full refund)
Age: Suitable for adults only
Duration: four days paddling/ three nights commercial camping
Experience: This trip is suitable for improver paddlers or above. This area is still open water and exposed to tide, waves, swell and wind so experience of these conditions is preferred
Contingency: Should the weather in the area planned to paddle be totally unsuitable, Explore Highland will discuss at time of meeting with group and amend plan to be more suitable. Should it be unwise to paddle in planned area, Explore Highland is able to replan and take group to a similarly spectacular paddling location to ensure you get the most from your paddling adventure with us.
Payment: Normal price for this trip is £360. As this is a new/first SUP Skye trip, Explore Highland are offering a discounted price to ensure this trip runs and gain a number of fantastic marketing photos to promote this the following year.
Booking online requires full payment at time of purchase. If you wish to spread your payments, email to request an invoiced/payment plan. Invoice ask for 25% deposit, with outstanding balance paid 28 days in advance of booking date.
BACS payment are free of charge. Surcharges apply for debit/credit card and paypal.
